JDI just finished our beautiful kitchen remodel. We couldn’t have asked for a better contractor. Art and team made the whole process a breeze. Communication was top notch. They were receptive and accommodating to little issues that come. Which will always happen in any remodel. They made sure our space was sparkling clean after. They finished on time and were willing to work with our budget. I interviewed several contractors in the area and none told me it was possible but JDI got it done. Thanks for our beautiful kitchen.

After delaying for along time, we decided to have our kitchen finally remodeled. Through Angi’s List (which I’m not a real fan of-that’s another story), I located JDI. I did some homework and found nothing but good things about them. They were responsive and professional, always. It felt like we were benefiting our local community completely, as they are obviously all local and not some big corporation but rather a family. Now, this was a big project and quite expensive, at least to us. But, other contractors told me the price was reasonable for 2023. And the work was done to our expectations. So, was it all perfect? No, there were some communication issues between us, on both sides. With time and effort, they were resolved to our satisfaction. We primarily dealt with a “younger” crew, who seemed like they were striving to improve-like we all should be. Also, they are beginning to use a BuilderTrend app, which I was not a fan of-but I could see its potential. One of the things they told me early on, realize that your existing stuff won’t look as nice when the remodel is done. This will end up costing more money. Now I know why people say to plan to spend an extra 20% on a remodel. As an example, they made our kitchen beautiful, like we asked for. But, then you begin to realize the lights, doors and lighting look really outdated. Overall, very good experience. Expensive but they did very thorough, detailed work and it was a huge project. They did not charge more than what was quoted, only cost more when I approved an upgrade or change. Lastly, during the beginning of the build, we had a TV up against our refrigerator. My wife accidentally knocked it over, cracking the screen. The next day, JDI called, offering to replace the TV as they believed they had done it (which they hadn’t, obviously). We’ll spend a bit more for quality work and honesty any day!

I worked with Art from JDI Construction and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I’m a new home owner and am looking to add a half or full bath to my home. Art came over to see what would be possible and gave me some fair and reasonable quotes. He was friendly and very understanding that this may be more of a medium term project time wise based on my budget and didn’t try to pressure me in to anything. Overall I couldn’t recommend Art and JDI Construction more and look forward to when we are able to work with them again! Thank you!!!

Working with JDI has been a pleasure. They are professional, respectful to everyone involved, considerate to their clients, and have a good team of subcontractors assembled to deliver quality workmanship. We wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.

JDI Construction just finished the total remodel on our home, they turned this house into the home of our dreams, not a single detail was missed, Vlad, Alex, Eugene, Bogdon, Max, Art did a stellar job. From the custom chefs kitchen, Master bath, Hall bath, all bedrooms, living room/great room with an incredible fireplace with a maple slab custom built by Vlad. The craftsmanship on all is absolutely gorgeous, both baths had to be ADA compliant, JDI turned them both into fully ADA all the while creating luxurious spas, no room was missed, JDI even turned the laundry room into a gorgeous work space. If you are thinking of remodeling dont hesitate on calling JDI, we are glad we did, love these guys, Becki & Gene Hatcher. (Will add pics later)

Prior to the pandemic we had geared up to do a large kitchen remodel. Finally, after 3 years we took the plunge. We came to the process with a design in hand, but JDI was the only contractor we met with that seemed dialed in to current trends, listened carefully to what we were envisioning and included all the details in his bid. From start to finish Art and his crew were awesome. Excellent daily communication regarding each phase of the project, and all the subs were efficient, professional and took pride in their work. I knew from our first meeting Art was the type of person that would make sure all the details were just right. 95 percent of the time we were on schedule or ahead of schedule! Our project was fairly extensive (wall removal, large picture window (additional engineering), extensive cabinetry and built ins, new modern smooth ceilings and bar tile work. Project was not without "hiccups" but they were always resolved as quickly as possible, and with great care to make sure things were completed to our satisfaction. Thank you for making our dream a reality. We love our new kitchen and are looking forward to future projects with Art & his crew! Melanie & Sean

5 stars for an awesome job on budget. Remodel of two upstairs bathrooms in 40 year old home. It took a bit longer than estimated because some of the tile was on backorder. But Isabella quickly found one that was very similar and readily available. During the design process Isabella was responsive to my input, and came up with a variety of layouts and material choices to fit within budget. Once started, someone worked at the house almost every day, all day, at the time I was notified of the day before. The work by subcontractors was done extremely efficiently, professionally and cleanly. From demolition to plumbing to the glass for shower doors. Bogdan, the electrician, had his work completed, inspected and approved the same day, Andrei did an absolut beautiful job on the tile in the showers and floors. Everyone was very kind, friendly and worked so well together, even when it took 5 guys to get a marbletopped vanity up the stairs and into the small bathroom. I loved how many of these professionals are teaching their craft to their sons. Eric stayed on top of everything, always communicated promptly and left the place spotless. The transformation of the master bathroom was stunning, thank you to all of you for making this possible!
